Why glutathione struggles in a pill.
Glutathione is the body's master antioxidant. Your cells make it, and it plays a central role in antioxidant defense, immune function and cellular repair.*
It is also a fragile molecule. Your stomach runs at around pH 2, and plain glutathione tends to break down in the digestive tract before much of it reaches your bloodstream intact. Most of the industry's answer has been to under-dose, hide weak actives in proprietary blends and let the marketing fill the gap. We started from absorption instead.

Glutathione is a small, fragile molecule. Swallowed on its own, it has a rough trip ahead.

Your stomach runs at around pH 2. Unprotected glutathione tends to break down here, which is why plain capsules and powders under-deliver.

CyLoc® nano-encapsulates each molecule in a cyclodextrin cage that carries it through digestion.

The cage opens further along the digestive tract, where absorption happens, so more glutathione arrives intact.

03 · CyLoc® and DexKey®
A cage, and a key.
CyLoc® places individual glutathione molecules inside a cyclodextrin matrix that shields them through the stomach. DexKey® travels with it and helps open the cage further along the digestive tract, where absorption happens.

The delivery technology, tested.
In a clinical study of oral CyLoc® glutathione, blood glutathione rose 67% on average from baseline. The study tested the delivery technology, not a TheraWell product itself.

Ordinary glutathione means standard capsules, powders and gummies without protected delivery.
What is glutathione?
Glutathione is a small antioxidant molecule made of three amino acids: glutamine, cysteine and glycine. Your body makes it in nearly every cell, where it supports antioxidant defense, immune function and cellular repair.*
Why doesn't plain glutathione absorb well?
Glutathione is easily broken down by digestive enzymes and stomach acid, so a large share of a plain oral dose tends to be broken apart before it can be absorbed intact.
Who makes CyLoc®?
CyLoc® is a nano-encapsulation technology from Tesseract Medical Research, LLC. TheraWell uses it under that name in TW-01 Detox and TW-04 Glutathione.
Is this the same as an IV drip?
No. An IV puts glutathione straight into your blood at a clinic. TheraWell is a daily gummy designed to protect glutathione through digestion. We don't claim it is equivalent to an injection.
